When the world is becoming poked in the head you need to read this.

Could it be what they are putting in the yearly flu injection?

CHANNEL, CHANNEL, CHANNEL only one word is needed for people poked in the head.

20th July 2014 update.

When anybody is talking about freeview it is always what channel is on freeview. it is not freeview channel it is freeview PROGRAM for a start off when I go to the concert program freeview channel on my freeview decoder it shows PO51 Now I think maybe P is more likely to stand for PROGRAM not channel.

Channel is a range frequency set aside for television broadcasting. In New Zealand it is 8 Megahertz spacing and bandwidth from Channel 21 (470 Megahertz) to Channel 69 (862 Megahertz)

Channel 1 to channel 11 disappeared when Analog Television stopped broadcasting in New Zealand late 2013 and now most of those frequency is most likely used by the cellphone industry.

Now all this started when television first started in New Zealand. There was a big knob on the television set numbered 1 to 9 with a gap between 3 and 4. Auckland viewers for example had to set their big knob to 2 as the television station was on channel 2, people in Wellington had to set their big knob to number 1. Later years the numbers to the big knob went 1 to 11. about that time color television came to New Zealand the big knob was replaced (in most sets) with smaller press buttons either one or a few more. Pressing these it was hard to call them channel buttons as you could PROGRAM or tune in any station to any PROGRAM number, in fact when color television started there was only one station and one if it turned them on could PROGRAM all the buttons to just the one station, something you could not do with the big knob on the old monochrome television sets. Latter television two started so logical most normal people programed TV2 onto PROGRAM number 2 on their television set. If you are intelligent you will get the flow the number on the set had nothing to do with a channel number the station was broadcasting on So far we have Station, PROGRAM and Channel. The Station is a company that puts a load of rubbish together called television programs and Broadcasts it over the the UHF band on frequencies set aside by the government called Channels. If you do not like one television station you press a button on you television set or remote to get a different PROGRAM. Now because television is a heap of rubbish in New Zealand now on freeview, I press the PROGRAM button on my television set to select the DVD player, and I watch something better like the old programs that used to played on television before pay TV came to New Zealand.

The point is we have different words that have different meanings why not use them for there proper use.
